Resources
This section of the site aims to provide access to resources relating to the Disability Convention or human rights more generally.
Included in the 'Resources' section are the following pages:
Disability Studies
It is impossible to fully understand the background to the UN Disability Convention, or disability, without some understanding of the theory that has influenced the development of the disability movement. This page provides links to the Disability Archive at the University of Leeds and to some papers that I think are particularly influential.
Help!
Trying to face the hurdles, bureaucracy and general hassle flowing from disability can be bewildering; this page seeks to offer some advice and sources of additional advice and help.
Issues
Discussion of some of the big issues affecting the development of disability as a human rights issue.
Links
The inevitable page of links to related web sites.
Opinion
Articles on relevant issues by guest writers.
Publications
A list of publications, freely available, that you may find informative.
